How to Play Case World
The unboxing loop, HUD, Store, and inventory after you survive the first hour.
Case World plays like a lobby wrapped around a case. You walk, you click, you open, you sell, you decide whether the next action is another free crate, an upgrade, a bank deposit, or a duel you should probably skip. The experience is free on Roblox, online with other players, and live since 5 January 2026. Every item is virtual. There is no real-world cashout hiding behind a rare roll.
If you have not done the onboarding pass, start with Getting Started in Case World instead of this page. This walkthrough assumes you can already open a free case and find the Store. When you want the cash-only version of the same loop, jump to how to make money in Case World. The Guides Hub remains the index if you only needed one mechanic.
Core loop
The loop is short on purpose. Open a case. Receive an item. Sell it for cash, keep it, or deposit it. Spend cash on more cases or on an upgrade that raises drop quality. Repeat until your net worth on the HUD looks less embarrassing than it did ten minutes ago. Free cases are always in that loop. Paid or upgraded cases are optional branches you unlock with the cash the free opens created.
Two named examples you will see in the live game are ollypro Jester cases and sticker capsules. They are not beginner homework. They are later targets once you can read a case tier list and an item tier list without guessing. Until then, treat every crate as a cash machine first and a fashion statement second.
The loop branches in four places. The bank turns a drop into offline interest; that desk is the Case World bank guide. The upgrader spends cash to change the quality of the next open; that desk is the Case World upgrader guide. Duels spend a stake on a head-to-head opening against another player; that desk is the Case World duels guide. Codes inject extra cases or cash when your level allows; that desk is the working codes list. Everything else is flavor around those four doors.
HUD and movement
You do not fight, craft, or aim. You navigate a case hall with standard Roblox movement: WASD on keyboard, thumbstick on mobile or a controller. Camera and jump follow the usual Roblox defaults. Interaction is click or tap. If a panel does not open, you clicked the wrong button, not the wrong secret key. This wiki will not invent keybinds that Volatile Industries did not publish.
The HUD is the real game. Cash tells you whether the next case is affordable. Inventory tells you whether you are holding junk, a spike, or something that should already be in the bank. Net worth is the flex number other people see. Store is the shop and the code window. Leaderboard entries pull from that net worth figure; browse the net worth leaderboard when you need a sense of scale, then close it so you do not start chasing someone else’s pile.
Group status matters on the HUD even if it does not look like a combat buff. Join Volatile Industries so you can buy two cases at once. Setup is on Volatile Industries group perks. After that, the HUD should feel like a cash dashboard: how much you have, what you are holding, and which button spends it.
Store, inventory, and cases
Store sits on the left of the interface. That is also where you redeem codes: open Store, scroll to the bottom field, type the string, press Redeem. The illustrated version is how to redeem Case World codes. Live codes are on the codes hub. Expired ones are on the expired codes dump. Because many codes are level-gated, keep the code level checker nearby so you do not hammer a string your account cannot claim yet.
Inventory is a holding pen, not a museum. If a drop is common, sell it and return to the loop. If a drop is a spike, decide in the next minute: bank it, keep it for a later upgrade plan, or accept that you are about to look at it until a duel chat wears you down. The players who stay solvent treat inventory like a conveyor, not a trophy room.
Cases themselves are the product. Free cases keep the conveyor moving. Upgraded cases change what the conveyor can spit out. Buying two at once with the group perk is only useful when you already wanted two of that case. Double-buying a crate you have not ranked on the tier list hub is just a faster way to be broke. If you use click helpers, read the scripts hub and auto-open scripts notes first; a script that opens faster than you can sell will also lose faster than you can think.
When the loop branches
Bank when you are about to log off or when a drop is too spicy to leave in inventory. Interest continues offline; that is the feature. Use the bank interest calculator rather than a guessed percentage. The tools hub is the parent page for that calculator.
Upgrade when cash is no longer the bottleneck and case quality is. Do not upgrade because a stranger in the server said the next tier is lucky. Read the upgrader guide, then spend.
Duel only with a cash buffer you can rebuild from free cases. Duels are online multiplayer. They are not a required quest. If the stake would send you back to hour-one poverty, walk away.
Events such as Admin Abuse have already been run. They change the noise in a server; they do not rewrite the loop. Check the events tracker and patch notes recap on the updates hub when the lobby feels different than it did yesterday. Developers have discussed a Global Market and Auctions in community channels. Until that exists in the live HUD, selling still means converting drops to cash inside the game you are already playing.
There is no official Trello and no hidden control scheme. Official posts live under official Case World links and the Discord invite page. Play the loop until Store, inventory, and cash are boring. Then the expensive decisions — bank, upgrade, duel — finally have a number attached instead of a vibe. When you need the index again, return to the Guides Hub instead of opening a random crate to feel busy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Case World questions.
What is the core Case World loop?
Open cases, convert loot to cash, then spend that cash on more cases or an upgrade. Bank spikes and skip duels until you have a buffer. Details start on this page and continue in how to make money in Case World.
How do I move and open menus?
Use standard Roblox movement (WASD or a thumbstick) and click the Store, inventory, case, bank, and duel buttons. There are no extra published keybinds.
Where is the Store used besides buying cases?
The Store is also the code window. Open it from the left, scroll to the bottom, and redeem from the working codes list using how to redeem Case World codes.
What should I do with inventory spikes?
Sell junk, deposit anything painful to lose using the bank guide, and only then consider the upgrader or a named crate from the item tier list.
Is Case World single-player?
No. Servers are online. Other players can challenge you to opening duels. Read the duels guide before you accept.
